Why watch A Christmas Carol?

  • London's longest-running adaptation of Dickens's timeless classic, the production has become an enduring Christmas tradition in the city.
  • John Simm, star of the cult TV show 'Life on Mars', brings an electrifying energy to Scrooge under the helm of Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child).
  • A Christmas Carol is a story of redemption, gratitude, greed, and selfishness - all the makings of the perfect Christmas tale!
  • Experience the joyous spectacle with surprising elements like parachuting Brussels sprouts and a zip-lining turkey on stage with tickets to A Christmas Carol.

Dickens wished for his story to be shared with warmth and rally communities - a quality this production exudes with care. Produced by the former artistic director of the Old Vic – Matthew Warchus, this production has been keeping the Christmas spirit alive since 2017.
Watch as a lonely and spiteful man is confronted by otherworldly visitors who reveal the depth of his inner emotions. Will this be enough to turn him around or is it too late for Scrooge? Get tickets to A Christmas Carol London and find out!
