This revival of Starlight Express throws open the doors to a world heavily influenced by the sleek, high-tech aesthetic of Tron. After a successful original run that spanned over 3 decades, the show is being brought back to life under the direction of Luke Sheppard, a rising star known for his work on &Juliet and The Little Big Things. Sheppard has assembled a fresh-faced cast, with many making their professional debuts, like Jeevan Braich, Kayna Montecillo, and Al Knott. There is also a focus on inclusivity, with new characters and a revamped script reflecting a more modern approach.
Rusty, the underdog steam engine, dreams of winning the affection of Pearl, a first-class observation car. But his path to glory is riddled with challenges. Greaseball, the arrogant diesel engine with a thirst for victory, and Electra, the sleek electric engine, stand in his way. Will Rusty overcome the odds and achieve his heart's desire? Book your tickets to Starlight Express in London and find out if love conquers all, even in the high-octane world of competitive trains!

A brilliant performance. Booking from overseas was easy and straight forward. All the information we needed from booking to finding the theatre to updates was there on Headout. Thank you.
We used the Headout app for the first time for our activities in London and were initially unsure whether everything would work with the ticket display on site. But everything worked wonderfully and without any problems. The directions were also very helpful and good, so we got to the venue without getting lost. The musical Starlight Express was just great! Music, costumes, planned encores, on-site catering - just great. We can only recommend both the app and the musical.

Ticketing worked very well. We particularly enjoyed having dinner at Studio5 and just walking to our seats in Carriage 2 for an exciting performance. I saw Starlight Express in the West End twenty years ago and found this update both charming and appropriate. You might consider warning ticket patrons about the possibility of having to return by tube to central London with the crowd from Wembley Stadium. That was a bit daunting but ultimately worked just fine due to good behavior by the masses and restraint by the fans dissapointed at England's loss to Greece.
I last saw this show in 1984 it was amazing then but for me the Energy of the cast The costumes The Damcing and singing was of a different level thank you for such a wonderful night and I would love to come back to see it again Amazing performance well done to all xxxxxxx
It was a fabulous performance and the actors were exceptionnel. Ticketing was easy and did work without any issue. Even though I bought 4 tickets, which were only available on Mobile phone. I did not rate it highest due to the fact that aircondition and cooling were too strong. Watching the show was only possible when keeping the coat on. A bit warmer would have helped.
The cost of the tickets starts from £34.80 and will vary depending on the type of seats you choose.
