Cameron Mackintosh

Producer of the Phantom of the Opera

Cameron is one of the most critically acclaimed British theatre producers in history. Mackintosh has produced all time hit musicals including Phantom of the Opera,Les Misérables, Cats, Miss Saigon, Mary Poppins, Oliver!, and Hamilton, to name a few. His success is even more prominent taking into perspective his teen life, when he started out as a stagehand and climbed up the ladder. In 1991, Mackintosh started a theatre company Delfont Mackintosh Theatres, that today owns over 8 theatres in London including the Novello and Gielgud theatres. In 1996, Mackintosh was knighted to honour his contribution to musical theatre.
