A native of Yorkshire, Rakesh Boury is a British actor who has impressed audiences with his exceptional acting and singing. Boury has worked in theater productions such as Fisherman’s Friends and acted in movies such as Disney’s Disenchanted. Apart from his acting, Boury runs ‘Secret Singers’, one of the UK’s most well-known surprise entertainment companies. He is also the Founder and Principal of The Boury Academy CIC-an organization that aims to increase diversity in the arts by providing affordable access to professional training. Rakesh is currently essaying the role of Mr. Wormwood in Matilda: The Musical.
