David Hockney: Bigger & Closer is not just an art exhibition, it's an immersive journey through the career of one of the most important artists of our time. Comprising six themed chapters, the show illuminates Hockney's creative process, as he experiments with perspective, photography, and digital media. As we accompany Hockney on his journey from Los Angeles to Yorkshire and up to the present day in Normandy, the artist invites us to look closer at the world around us. As Hockney himself says in the show, "The world is very, very beautiful if you look at it, but most people don’t look very much."
Note: Producers can not guarantee the appearance of any particular artist, which is always subject to illness and holidays.
