Glory Ride tickets are now available for purchase! The musical will be performed from the 22nd of April to the 29th of July at the Charing Cross Theatre in London’s West End. Book your Glory Ride tickets now to avoid missing out on this heartwarming production with themes of hope and bravery. Glory Ride, a musical theatre production directed by Olivier Award winner Kelly Devine, was created through workshops in New York and Los Angeles in addition to a run of sold-out staged concerts at The Other Palace in London last year. Glory Ride, a musical written, composed, and performed by the extraordinary father-daughter duo Victoria and Todd Buchholz, was produced by some of the original creators of Jersey Boys. Other members of the creative team for the production include assistant director Ricky J. Hines, musical director David Rose, set, costume, and video designer PJ McEvoy, and casting director Harry Blumenau.
Gino Bartali, a well-known Tour de France cyclist who lives in Mussolini's Italy, is presented with a choice between fame, riches, and saving hundreds of lives in the moving story of Glory Ride. As he exploits his cycling career to carry out covert missions across Italy, including one that involves hiding forged identification cards and documents in his bicycle frame to aid persecuted Jews and refugees during World War II, Bartali becomes a symbol of rescue and resistance. This compelling story combines humour and humanity and is set against the Tuscan countryside's gorgeous hills. Grab your Glory Ride tickets now!
