Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat is the biblical tale of Jacob's favorite son Joseph and his 11 brothers. The show starts with Joseph being sold to slavery by his nasty brothers and arriving in Egypt. The captain of Pharaoh's guards, Potiphar, takes to disliking Joseph and actively goes about destroying his reputation in the city. Soon after, another misfortune strikes Joseph and he is thrown into jail for rejecting Potiphar's wife. During his time in jail, Joseph uncovers a startling gift of interpreting dreams. Will he be able to use this newfound ability to get out of his Egyptian troubles and reunite with his family?
