The musical adaptation of "Clueless" is rolling into London's Trafalgar Theatre with a totally buggin' cast. Opening February 15, 2025, the show arrives in perfectly coordinated timing, coinciding with the original film's 30th anniversary and Jane Austen's 250th birthday.

Emma Flynn is stepping into Alicia Silverstone's iconic role as Cher Horowitz, the well-intentioned Beverly Hills matchmaker whose perfect life gets complicated when her plans go awry. Joining her is Keelan McAuley as Josh, her former stepbrother and verbal sparring partner. Chyna-Rose Frederick takes on the role of Cher's best friend Dionne, while Romona Lewis-Malley will portray Tai, the new student who becomes the subject of Cher's makeover.
The production marks a homecoming of sorts for the story, as Amy Heckerling, who wrote and directed the original film, returns to adapt the book for the stage. Her clever transformation of Jane Austen's Emma from Regency England to '90s Beverly Hills now gets a fresh soundtrack from Brit Award winner KT Tunstall, with lyrics by Grammy winner Glenn Slater.
The ensemble cast includes Sophie Elmes, Jacob Fisher, and Aoife Kenny, among others, with Rachel Kavanaugh directing and Olivier Award winner Kelly Devine choreographing. This marks a significant departure from the 2018 Off-Broadway version, which relied on adapted '80s and '90s pop songs rather than an original score.
