Tanisha Spring and Dom Simpson took the West End by storm in their iconic roles of Satine and Christian, respectively, in the third-year production of Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre.
The third-year cast also features Matt Rixon as Harold Zidler, Ian Carlyle as Toulouse-Lautrec, and Ben Richards as The Duke, continuing their stellar performances into another year. Joining them are Ivan De Freitas as Santiago, Charlotte Gooch as Nini and Anthony Cragg as Baby Doll. Hannah Jay-Allan & Bernadette Bangura continue in their roles of Arabia and La Chocolat, respectively. Rochelle Sherona joins as Arabia (maternity cover) and Angela Marie Hurst as Alternate Satine.
The third-year cast also includes Oliver Adam-Reynolds, James Chisholm, Katie Deacon, Fletcher Dobinson, Serenar Douch, Rola Elliott, Davide Fienauri, Zack Guest, Natorii Illidge, David King-Yombo, Erin Bell, Emily Bolland, Ross Chisari, Jasmine Leung, Kira McPherson, Melissa Nettleford, Chris Otim, Gavin Ryan, Craig Ryder, Jamie Shields, Catrin Thomas, Matt Trevorrow, Charley Warburton, Joshua Robinson, Callum Rose, Ben Rutter, Sasha Woodward, and Luke Fraser Yates.
The musical, directed by Alex Timbers, features choreography by Sonya Tayeh and orchestrations and arrangements by Justin Levine. Pop hits from the first Baz Luhrmann production and recently released chart-toppers come together in the score.
Set in Moulin Rouge, Paris, 1899! The musical narrates the tale of Christian, a lovesick American writer, and Satine, the glamorous star of the Moulin Rouge nightclub. When their lives collide, Harold Zidler, the nightclub host, and The Duke of Monroth put obstacles in their way as they fall madly in love.
