The highly acclaimed musical Six has announced the new Queens set to reign at the Vaudeville Theatre, as they officially become part of the cast starting on October 17, 2023.
Six's new cast for the extended run includes Nikki Bentley (known for her role in "Wicked") taking on the character of Catherine of Aragon, Thao Therese Nguyen (recognized from "Miss Saigon") embodying Anne Boleyn, Kayleigh McKnight (renowned for her part in "Heathers") portraying Jane Seymour, Reca Oakley (previously in "SIX") as Anna of Cleves, Inez Budd (notable for her role in "Heathers") as Katherine Howard, and Janiq Charles (known for her performance in "Disney’s The Lion King") as Catherine Parr.
Additionally, the cast will be augmented by Gabriella Stylianou (from "The Great British Bake Off Musical") serving as Alternate Aragon/Seymour and Dance Captain, Naomi Alade (previously in "Beautiful") as Alternate Boleyn/Cleves, Hannah Lowther (known for her role in "The SpongeBob Musical") as Alternate Howard/Parr, Meg Dixon-Brasil (who has appeared in "SIX") as Super Swing, and Natalie Pilkington (also from "SIX") as UK Super Swing.
Six the Musical transforms the historical tales of Henry VIII's six wives into a lively pop concert, putting the spotlight firmly on the Queens. The production is currently accepting bookings until November 2024, with inclusive features such as BSL interpretation, audio description, and captions available for select performances in July and October 2024. There will be sing-along performances on May 12 and August 25, 2024, as well as special school-only matinees on Thursdays during term time, a first for the show.
