The Mongol Khan's limited season at West End depicts a captivating tale illuminated by a breathtaking original score, the art of dance, puppetry, and lavish sets and costumes that draw inspiration from the rich tapestry of nomadic traditions. The creative team

The Mongol Khan originally penned by the celebrated Mongolian writer and poet Lkhagvasuren Bavuu in 1998, saw a remarkable revival in April 2022 at the Mongolian State Academic Theatre of Drama. The original Mongolian creators have now joined forces with a global team of renowned artists and experts, including the eminent historian and travel writer John Man, whose expertise in Mongolian history and culture enriches the production.

The Mongol Khan embodies the quintessential elements of a classic tragedy, weaving a tale of jealousy, mistaken identity, adultery, rivalry, sacrifice, the pursuit of power, and the complexities of succession. Make sure to book your tickets in advance!
