One of London West End’s largest theatres, the Dominion Theatre is located on Tottenham Court Road. The theatre, which opened in 1929 was originally planned to be a live musical theatre. However, in 1930 the theatre premiered Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights which established the theatre’s future course as a place for live theatre as well as films. Dominion Theatre has since hosted several plays including the musical, “We Will Rock You”, “Royal Variety Performance. With a seating capacity of 2069, the Hillsong Church London occasionally holds services in the Dominion theatre every Sunday.
