Famously invented over 75 years ago by Rodgers and Hammerstein, this critically acclaimed, Tony Award-winning musical has enjoyed a sell-out run in New York and a much-lauded run at London's Young Vic. The website was easy to useand worked well. I downloaded the app to get my tickets. The only other suggestion I have would be to be able to download the tickets to my Apple wallet for ease of retrieval on show day. For some reason the ticket was not available off line so the QR code disappeared when I stepped into the theater forcing me to have to go to the box office and stand in line for a printed ticket.
The venue was fine, the actors, actresses, dancers and singers were excellent. I didn't like the modern take on the show. Was surprised that the house lights didn't go out for the majority of the show. Entertainers and audience became as one. Also, two segments of the show left everyone in the dark, even the exit signs disappeared, surely not appropriate. I thought for a few seconds that I had gone blind.
