There is nothing like watching a Christmas pantomime to celebrate the magical, feel-good vibe of the holiday season. Watching Pantoland at the London Palladium, which is the birthplace of panto in London, is the ultimate Christmas treat for people of all ages.
In 2020, the production roped in none other than stage royalty Elaine Paige to play the villainous Queen Rat. This year, however, will see yesteryear’s teen sensation Donny Osmond join Palladium panto regulars Julian Clary, Paul Zerdin, Gary Wilmot, and Nigel Havers alongside up-and-coming stars like Jac Yarrow and Sophie Isaacs.
The star-studded extravaganza does not follow a traditional pantomime script, instead its run time of 2 hours and 15 minutes comprises a medley of acts including show-stopping musical numbers and mesmerizing dance performances by the supremely-talented Tiller Girls.
Pantoland will be showcased at the Palladium for its 6th consecutive year in 2021 under the helm of director Michael Harrison, who also doubles as the executive producer. Karen Bruce is tasked with the choreography and Ian Westbrook takes over set design to create a thoroughly immersive experience.
