The Dominion Theatre is one of London West End’s largest theatres and is located on Tottenham Court Road. The theatre, which opened in 1929 was originally planned to be a live musical theatre. However, in 1930 the theatre premiered Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights which established the theatre’s future course as a place for live theatre as well as films. Dominion Theatre has since hosted several plays including the musical, ‘We Will Rock You’, and ‘Royal Variety Performance’.
