Storyline
Book your Richard III tickets to see Shakespeare's historical drama about the English king. At the beginning of the play, Richard, Duke of Gloucester, schemes to overthrow his brother, King Edward IV, and become king himself. Richard uses his influence over his family and friends, including his brother's wife and children, to pave the way for him to ascend the throne. In addition, he uses the deaths of other influential people, including his own nephews, to cement his hold on power. Once in power, Richard's oppression and paranoia drive away many of his nobility and commoners alike.
