The Musical tickets today! A group of Warwick University students founded Gigglemug in 2018 with the intention of producing entertainment that would make viewers smile. They are a resident theatre company at The Turbine Theatre in Battersea, which supports new musicals. They firmly believe that comedy is about escape and allowing audiences to immerse themselves in something novel and exciting. This production was developed in collaboration with The Scout Association. Sam Cochrane of Gigglemug wrote the musical's book and directed it, and David Fallon, a former scout, composed the music.
The plot of the musical follows Joe and Ayesha, two Scouts, as they compete, pick up skills, and gain badges at the Scout Games with the aid of Scout volunteer Dylan. The Scout Games have attracted scouts from all across the world! It's up to Joe and Ayesha to employ all of their scouting abilities—and more—to stop the intruder that threatens to ruin the tournament as a whole. The musical features everything from seductive tango dance breaks to an intense rock ballad between the Chief Scout and Mother Nature, his true love! Grab Scouts!
