The Peacock Theatre, originally known as The Royalty Theatre, is a West End theatre in the City of Westminster. It is situated on Portugal Street. After MGM took over the location in 1961, it was constructed in 1960 and put to use as a movie theatre. In 1969, it ceased operation as a movie theatre and reopened as a venue for live theatre.
