  • Book your The Good Person of Szechwan tickets to witness the sharp scrutiny of capitalism and how it can change the values of a community in a thought-provoking spectacle.

Bertolt Brecht's The Good Person of Szechwan is a standard of 20th-century theatre. Its creative theatrical approach, which defies conventional concepts of dramatic structure, and the fact that it uses music and song to convey the tale have all contributed to its status as a must-see. The play's ageless characters and ideas also make it a good fit for modern viewers.

The playwright Brecht uses the figure of Shen Te to explore issues of morality, good and evil, and the individual's place in a corrupt society. This play is well-known for its unique structure, which borrows from Chinese opera, and for its use of alienation methods, which force the audience to think deeply about the issues being addressed onstage.
