The Hills of California is a collaboration between Jez Butterworth, known for his compelling storytelling and complex characters, and Sam Mendes, the Oscar-winning director of American Beauty and popular James Bond films Skyfall and Spectre.

I loved the performances of all actors, especially the leads and especially Laura Donnelly, I cried towards the end of the play.
Performances and the warmth of the staff were outstanding. Also the quality of the material . biutterworth is worldclass!
The plot line was interesting and complex. I loved how the show switched from present to past to move the plot along. We had seats at the very back of the balcony and could see everything great. The only part that we couldn't really see was the top of the stairs, but we didn't really miss much because of that.
The play was brilliant and the cast was wonderful. And such an amazing set.
