We were led to believe balcony view might be less than satisfactory because of rail, but this wasn't the case, due to actors movements, leaning forward ( maybe difficult for less mobile person) and depth of stage Performances were first class and and excellent acoustics P. S Again, for those less able, it was a bit of a hike up and down the stairs. Is there a lift?
Really funny and clever. We sat in the gods and enjoyed the show despite the dizzy heights! Would recommend!
The Upstart Crow was a really clever and play - funny and topical with an excellent script. David Mitchell as Shakespeare was fantastic in the part as we're all the supporting actors. Booked late so had back of balcony seats but could see and hear everything. Made a really enjoyable and memorable night out. Could easily watch this again. Not on for much longer but would thoroughly recommend.
