The show promises to be amazing with several award-winning veterans and acclaimed artists from the world of opera supporting and performing in it. The role of Colonel Fairfax is performed by Anthony Gregory who was hailed by music critic Hugh Canning as the Mozart tenor. He is supported by Neal Davies who plays Sergeant Meryll of the Yeoman with Alexandra Oomens starring as Elsie Maynard. Heather Lowe, Steven Page, and Susan Bickley star as Phoebe Meryll, Sir Richard Cholmondeley, and Dame Carruthers, respectively. Innocent Masuku, who plays Leonard Meryll, and Isabelle Peters, who plays Kate, round out the cast.

Chris Hopkins conducts the English National Orchestra for the show, with Jo Davies directing the production. Anthony Ward is the stage designer, with Oliver Fenwick doing the lighting and Kay Shepherd doing the choreography.

Storyline

In the heart of London, one of Gilbert and Sullivan's most popular operettas is set. The perilous webs of intrigue, unrequited love, and mistaken identity that accompany The Yeoman of the Guard are showcased at the Tower of London. When a touring troupe of performers arrives, sparks fly, romances bloom, and strange schemes abound.

Colonel Fairfax is wrongfully imprisoned, and a scheme is hatched to obtain his release before his execution. Phoebe, the daughter of a Yeoman, concocts a plan with newcomer and jester Jack Point to get the wedding she wants. Paths intersect, identities are mistaken, and new relationships grow, resulting in turmoil. What happens to these beloved characters? Do the lovers get a happy ending?
