Andrew Pollard, Michael Hugo, and Theresa Heskins co-wrote Tom, Dick & Harry. Andrew and Michael act in the production as well. Theresa Heskins directs the show. The producer of the best-selling productions The Play That Goes Wrong and SIX the Musical brings the play to London.
Filiz Ozcan is the assistant director. Laura Willstead designs the set, Lis Evans designs the costumes, and Daniella Beatie designs the lighting. Alex Day is the sound designer, and James Atherton is the musical director and composer. Caroline Heatherington is the vocal teacher and Beverley Norris-Edmunds is the choreographer. Anji Carroll Cdg is the casting associate.
Storyline
Tom, Dick and Harry is the incredible story of the Allied Airmen’s break out from the Stalag Luft III which was a prison camp governed by the Luftwaffe during WWII. The play follows the journey of the imprisoned airmen and their iconic escape from the horrifying POW camp and encourages you to separate reality from the myths. It commemorates the people involved and presents the fabled Tom, Dick, and Harry along with telling the utterly real, and seemingly fantastical narrative of one of World War II's most daring escape efforts. The script was based on classified materials that the war archives did not declassify as Top Secret information until 1972.
