Garrick Theatre is named after the legendary Shakespearean actor David Garrick. The theatre opened its doors in 1889, financed by none other than the famed playwright W.S. Gilbert (of Gilbert and Sullivan fame). Originally designed by Walter Emden with structural assistance from C.J. Phillips to handle the watery foundation, the Garrick nearly met its demise in 1968. A fierce campaign by the artistic community – the Musician's Union, Equity, and various theatre groups – saved the day, ensuring this grand dame of the West End continues to stage productions. From early hits like The Profligate and No Sex Please, We're British to recent successes like All on her Own and The Entertainer, the Garrick boasts a rich legacy.

Fabulous musical with subtle and deep insights. Wonderful cast and lead. Great energy, dancing, voice. Laughed and cried. You feel a connection with the cast and I wish them all great success with this show. Highly recommend!!
Fun, vibrant and creative show. Did a lot with a thin plot. Such talent. But 20-30 minutes too long. Example the Disco Ball song starts out great and then I almost fell asleep. The audience was obviously made up of friends family and followers, some repeat viewers. But to spread beyond that it needs some tightening up in second act especially. TBS I do recommend it.
This was the best musical that I have ever seen in my life. I couldn't stop thinking of it even after days of watching. The plot was extremely relatable and the emotions are just so raw. I almost cried listening to Leesa sing Just In Case. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I look forward to returning soon to see what more the cast can offer.

loved the performances, dancing and singing!
